I SEE ~ Ishaqzaade

I thought Parineeti Chopra excelled in 'Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl.' So her being the leading lady clubbed with the fact that this is a Yash Raj Film were reason enough to watch 'Ishaqzaade' even though I hadn't really caught the promos.

Writer & Director Habbib Faisal creates the make-belief town of "Almore" with great detailing and rustic characters. He establishes the lead pair (Romeo and Juliet of "Almore") with gripping drama leading to a surprising turn of events at the intermission point. What happens next can only be described as "the curse of the second half" as the film turns into a wild goose chase with a predictable end.

In spite of the sloppy second half, I'd still say its pretty watchable.
