I SEE ~ Dark Shadows

I was dragged for this one by my brother. Firstly, I don't understand the genre of "horror comedies" but its Johnny Depp and Tim Burton so one should expect something weird. 'Dark Shadows' in a triangle love story with Depp playing a vampire. Johnny Depp is charming even as a blood sucking monster that is unlocked after 200 years. As for horror, its really quite gross with body parts twisting, ghosts and bleeding paintings. As for comedy, only the bits where Depp's character, Barnabas Collins, is adjusting to the time zone he has been accidentaly released in, are funny.
Great costumes, superb special effects but nothing one hasn't seen before. The film has a stellar supporting cast with Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter and Chloe Grace Mortez. Have loved some Johny Depp and Tim Burton collaborations in the past but this one was a tad boring.
