All in Movies

Saw the 'Wolf of Wall Street' last night and if you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend the film. Apart from the stellar perfomances the film has also been a talking point for its costumes.

Giorgio Armani worked with acclaimed costume designer Sandy Powell in this special collaboration. As Wall Street tycoon Belfort, the film’s star Leonardo DiCaprio is featured in Giorgio Armani's period style, circa 1993.

Manish Malhotra presented his festive collection celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema in London at the Annual Gala at Grosvenor House in London on September 28, 2013.

Bollywood actresses, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta walked the ramp for the designer. The runway show recreated the magic of the past decades of the movies and paid homage to every iconic period of Indian cinema. The event was attended by Gurinder Chadha, Fardeen & Natasha Khan, Pamela Grover and Rekha Tourani to name a few.

I almost didn't recognise Naomi Watts when I saw the picture above. The actress is all set to play Princess Diana in the upcoming film DIANA. As always the hair, make-up and costumes go a long way in bringing a character to life.

Naomi Watts will be spotted wearing Tod’s iconic pieces D-Bag and Gommino in this film, directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel, starring the Australian star and Naveen Andrews.

Bombay Talkies releases tomorrow. Going by the credits and reviews, it is a film that is not to be missed. The ode to 100 year of cinema has also been the talk of the town for the "Apana Bombay Talkies" song starring the biggest stars of the industry.

While the men look dapper dressed in black, the women all dazzle in gold. Here is a look at who wore what...

Sonam Kapoor glistens in a custom made Shehla Khan sari for the soundtrack of 'Bombay Talkies'. The fashionista dressed in a net sari with soft gold sequins flowers put together in a lace design. Shehla Khan on dressing her muse Sonam Kapoor for the song,"It's always a delight to dress Sonam, she's gorgeous and has the ability to carry off anything with elan. I decided to dress her in a soft nude net sari which perfectly complemented her elegant beauty."

I am really looking forward to Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation ofThe Great Gatsby. There has been so much talk about the new big screen adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel. The anticipation will finally be over this month as the film releases worldwide on May 105h and open the 66th Cannes Film Festival on May 15.

With so much hype and celebration, the stylish film has the perfect champagne partner to match. Moet Chandon is the official champagne partner for this visual interpretation of the classic story set in the era of art deco and bold celebration, the ‘Roaring Twenties.’

The cast of 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' has been attending several shows to promote their film. At a recent event, Katrina Kaif looked lovely as always ina pink Manish Malhotra saree with his trademark contrasting border. Shah Rukh Khan ditched his favourite all black look for a charcoal jacket and grey waistcoat. The stand out for me though was Anuskha Sharma in this ivory and gold anarkali with traditional hair and make-up.

I am soooo looking forward to 'Skyfall.' There is a certain "cool factor" associated with everything the 007 agent does, says and even wears. Tom Ford is dressing James Bond for a second time in the upcoming film 'Skyfall' and the one thing you can't miss about his look in the promos are these Tom Ford aviators. Sridevi looked resplendent in a Sabyasachi lehenga saree complimented with Amrapali jewelry at the premiere of 'English Vinglish' in Mumbai. This Sabyasachi outfit is really beautiful, another example of something that is deceivingly simple but with intricate detailing.

Sheer lehengas and sareers with fancy petticoat peeking from underneath have been a big trend at the recent fashion weeks. While most designers have opted for shimmering metallic skirts under their garments, Sabyasachi gives this net thread work lehenga a twist with a floral print playing peek-a-boo. :-)

Also like that Sridevi has left one arm bare and clubbed three bracelets together on one side. See below for more pictures...

'Cocktail' is being touted as one of the most stylish films of the year. With Vogue's Anaita Shroff Adajania doing on board and designer brands like Burberry dressing the stars...I am really looking forward to seeing some fab clothes and fresh styling when the film releases on July 13, 2012.

I personally love Burberry for their clothes. The Burberry Brit dress fit like a dream with their super light fabrics and of course you can't go wrong with their jackets. Both Saif and Deepika can be seen wearing Burberry jackets in the film. While Saif is dressed in their classic trench; Deepika goes sporty chic with their biker jacket. Take a look...

While there are no offical photos yet Twitter is abuzz with pictures of Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra from the London premiere of 'Teri Meri Kahaani.' Of all the pictures I've seen from the promotions and many many premieres of the film, this look has to be Priyanka Chopra's best. Dressed in a strapless black dress and rocking some voluminous hair Priyanka Chopra looks every bit the Bollywood star.

Shahid Kapoor is sporting a stuble and wearing a grey suit with contrasting lapels. Click below for more pictures...

'Teri Meri Kahaani' released today and both Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor have been spotted at a whole lot of events promoting the film. When I first saw the film's poster I was expecting the stars to be promoting the films dressed as their characters. I was pleasantly surprised to see the styling for promotions was otherwise. :-)

Priyanka Chopra wore a Nandita Mahatani dress to the film's premiere in Dubai. Shahid Kapoor opted for a Shawl Collar Jacket for the same event. Take a look below...

The man single handedly responsible for turning the pea coat into a fashion statement has ditched the jacket for some fine Italian tailoring.  Gucci has collaborated with costume designer Denise Cronenberg to create a sleek and elegant silhouette for the "Twilight" star in his new contemporary thriller, “Cosmopolis."

"In the film, Pattinson’s character is dressed in one of Gucci’s signature silhouettes - a black two button notch lapel Signoria. The impeccably tailored suit is paired with a fitted white cotton shirt, slim black silk tie, leather belt with silver buckle detail and black leather lace up dress shoes." I like his new look a lot.
