All in DLF Emporio

Attended the DLF Emporio Design Awards 2013-2014, on February 18th in Delhi. Students from leading colleges sent in their entries, keeping with this year's theme, 'Reinventing The Classics.' Budding design ethusiasts presented their interpretations of the iconic creations such as the Burberry Trench, Dior Bar Jacket, Fendi Baguette and traditional saree. At the risk of sounding cliché, it was a great effort all around and nice to see such a unique platform to showcase one's talent.

As part of the Valentine's Day celebrations, DLF Emporio has unveiled limited edition designer teddy bears that are available for sale. The cuties have been designed by leading designers such as Manish Arora, Satya Paul, Suneet Varma and Raghavendra Rathore to name a few.

My personal favourite are the ones in the picture above. Looking at the lipstick print, I am sure you have already guessed that they have been designed by Satya Paul.

Take a look below to see more of these adorable gifties...

According to Times of India, iconic Italian designer Roberto Cavalli is partnering with designer Manav Gangwani's company to open the first store in India in May 2012. Roberto Cavalli, for me stands for everything that I associate with Italian fashion - individualistic, glamorous, vivid, flamboyant, provocative, fluid and proud.
