Travel Essentials: Flat Shoes

As good as heels look, I can manage in them for two hours tops. Given the luggage weight limits on all airlines, one needs to pack smart and I'd recommend giving heels a miss when on holiday. When traveling nothing is as comfortable as a pair of nice flat shoes (also they take less space). Flat doesn't necessarily mean boring. I am traveling this week and packing several cushioned flats for the day and embellished for the night.

I am all about comfort and own at least 15 pairs of sneakers. I have them in gold, silver and even leopard print. Love Jimmy Choos range of sneakers. They are also available in high tops and even with exotic skins. Leave little star imprints while walking courtesy their fun sole.

I have these and have been living in them all summer, the soft color makes them really versatile. Super girly with the 3D floral motif. :-)

If you wear flat shoes most of the times, one may get inflamed tissues along the bottom of the foot. The latter condition is called plantar fasciitis, and it can ultimately require medication and even surgery to heal if you do not correct your footwear.
