LFW WF2016 ~ LYF Presents Tarun Tahiliani
Tarun Tahiliani opened Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2016, with a collection inspired by noted sculptor Mrinalini Mukherjee.
A very wearable collection from the designer with plenty of kurtas, kaftans, tunics and shift dresses on offer, along with the much loved Tarun Tahiliani concept sarees. The maverick designer is a master of drapes; and this ready-to-wear line defines construction, draping and fit.
A detail that I personally loved seeing on the runway and would love to incorporate in my wardrobe is the fringe. The outfits in cobalt blue were my pick of the lot, sadly I don't have those images to share, but whenever it is that you seen the collection, you'll know exactly what I am talking about.
Also loved the deep lip colour worn by all the models; it is sure to be a big beauty trend this winter. The leather shoes also deserve a special mention.
A trip to the Tarun Tahiliani store is on the anvil...
