Payal Singhal for Bombay Shirt Company

Payal Singhal for Bombay Shirt Company

Bombay Shirt Company has launched a limited edition capsule collection for women in association by designer Payal Singhal. I got a first look at the shirts at the collection launch on March 4th, 2015 at the Bombay Shirt Company flagship store.

The Spring/Summer collection by the designer consists of shirts that go beyond the workwear category. Often shirts tend to get restricted to the office for women. Bombay Shirt Company's customisation service combined with Payal Singhal's concept, makes this exclusive line of shirts fun and very wearable.

My pick of the lot were the high low shirts, which reminded me on Payal Singhal's much loved tunics. You can style them with jeans or tights and wear them just about anywhere. Pretty prints, colourful stitching and hidden details add to the charm of the collection.

You can shop the shirts as they have been put together by designer Payal Singhal and you also have the option of tweaking the exclusive line to add your personal touch. A portion of proceeds from the sale of each piece of this collection will be donated towards the NGO 'Akanksha.' This charity has been selected by Payal Singhal for their efforts in providing children from low-income backgrounds with a high-quality education.

Payal’s capsule collection for Bombay Shirt Company is available at their Kala Ghoda store and on the BSC website

Shibani Dandekar was spotted dressed in a Payal Singhal shirt for Bombay Shirt CompanyAlso spotted at the event were Natasha Chib, Anindita Nayar, Maria Goretti, Deepa Bhatia, Soleil Nathwani amongst others.

The idea behind this initiative is to have various creative personalities display their unique take on fashion and styling. We are thrilled to present our women customers a chance to wear special pieces designed by Payal Singhal herself!

I’m very excited about my collaboration with Bombay Shirt Company mainly because I love the brand. Also, this was an exciting opportunity to see what we could do together in keeping with both the PS and BSC brand aesthetic. I’m also really happy that BSC will be donating a percentage of the proceeds from this collection to ‘Akanksha’ as I really admire their dedicated work for children and their education.
