Keeping It Stylish This Week
Vogue Beauty Awards 2014
After the GQ party, it was time for the women to strut their best at the Vogue Beauty Awards 2014. Kangana Ranaut was the standout in a Namrata Joshipura look with the on-trend crop top and her timeless curls. Another favourite of mine was Twinkle Khanna in a Diane Von Furstenberg wrap dress, emerald clutch and jaw-dropping polki necklace.
Kajol continued her experiment with fashion dressed in Shehlaa by Shehla Khan pant-suit complimented by a Jimmy Choo clutch. While Shipa Shetty and Lisa Haydon worked the cut-out trend.
Neha Dhupia opted for all black, including a black Bottega Veneta knot to make her Outhouse jewellery shine.
Siddharth Malhotra made for a dashing picture wearing his Giorgio Armani suit with a graphic print tee.
Front Row at India Bridal Week 2014
As always there was much to celebrate off the ramp as well. Urmila Matondkar and Huma Qureshi were spotted front row at the Manish Malhotra show dressed in the designer's finest. Rahul Khanna was at the Gaurav Gupta show dressed in Gucci's Pre Fall 2014 dark grey-rubie coloured rail stripe mouliné wool suit with a white evening shirt and white silk pocket square.
Looking for the new IT bag?
The Gucci Diamante series is turning out to be quite a celebrity favourite with the likes of Aishwarya Rai, Allison Williams, Anne Hathaway, Camilla Belle, Gisele Bundchen, Julia Roberts and Madonna being spotted carrying the same. Sandra Bullock was also recently spotted carrying the bag in a stunning blue.
Classics never go out of style, much like anything from the Gucci bamboo series. Pippa Middleton was spotted in London with a Gucci medium Bamboo Shopper tote in black leather.
Talking of Movie Promotions
Jacqueline Fernandez has been mixing luxury and high street to give us some super chic and casual looks during Kick promotions. Parineeti Chopra has also been doing the rounds promoting her film Dawat-e-Ishq. She has been mixing things around by switching between Indian and Western attire.
The styling in the posters, trailers and promotions are is looking vibrant and kitsch. I am already looking forward to Sonam Kapoor's Khoobsurat.
