Pink In Print
While planning my holiday to Morocco, I stumbled upon several travel blogs that had some very conflicting details on "what to wear" when traveling there. While some stated you must be covered from head-to-toe in loose fit clothing, others contradicted those claims stating pretty much anything goes.
I did a fair bit of research on this as I feel that it is important to be respectful to the sentiments of the local people when visiting a country. As it turns out, it is highly recommend that you put on your conservative best when visiting Morocco.
Sharing with you a series of posts on what I wore during my holiday in the beautiful country. While Marrakech was the last stop on my trip, I am going to start with this outfit as I simply love this easy breezy kaftan dress from Label by Ritu Kumar.
The long sleeves, relaxed fit and mid-length were suitable in keeping with the conservative norms. Accessorised with a Goyard tote, Isharya ring and Hermes enamel bangle. Birkenstock sandals were the practical choice for this vacation which involved lots of walking in hot weather. Never one to holiday without some cool sunnies, I am wearing a pair of Dior sunglasses with a purple frame.
Besides the Jaipur pink and vibrant print of this dress made for some great pictures. of this dress from Label by Ritu Kumar :-) Took these pictures at the stunning Palais Namaskar Hotel in Marrakech.
